The Brazilian Computer Society (SBC) has published the book “The future of video collaboration: perspectives”, organised in partnership with Brazil’s National Educational and Research Network (RNP) Video Collaboration Technical Committee (CT-Video).
The publication is the result of a call for papers launched by the CT-Video and that took place at the Webmedia 2017.
The book brings a collection of works on video applications by laboratories that are part of the technical committee, such as the audiovisual design research group at the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB), the Laboratory of Cinematic Arts and Visualization (LabCine) at the Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, the Laboratory of Projects in Audio and Video (PRAV) at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), among others. “Each chapter presents a session on the ‘vision of the future’ of the laboratories,” says RNP R&D manager Leandro Ciuffo.
